  • Consistency - You're seen as very reliable - invaluable in an environment where predictability and accuracy are of paramount importance. If you are inconsistent, you will make more mistakes and be less predictable.
  • Responsibility - You take your work seriously, wanting to do your best at all times. Others count on you to be there when they need you. If less responsible, others might feel a need to monitor your work to ensure that it is done to their satisfaction.
  • Planning & organization - Your approach to work is deliberate, inclining you to take time to plan and organize. You like to take the time to get things right and you worry a bit about the downside of making avoidable mistakes. If less planful and organized, you are quite happy to jump into projects and fly by the seat of your pants.
  • Loyalty - You can be relied on to stick with your employer. You defend your employer's actions to critics. You identify with your organization - taking part in company functions and buying its products. If not so loyal, you criticize organizational decisions that you think are wrong. You might leave if your organization's actions dissatisfy you too much.

Potential pitfalls

  • Excessive trust - giving more loyalty than you get in return.
  • Lack of personal growth - denying yourself opportunities to develop by sticking too closely to what is comfortable and familiar.
  • Inflexibility - being more resistant to change than those less interested in security.
  • Lack of spontaneity - wanting to think things through and take a cautious approach, leading to occasional missed opportunities.
