Can you Rank Order Your Values?

  • Which value you would sacrifice if you can't decide between two? 
  • What might others want for you? 
  • What is the right balance between your values with their needs?
  • When you have completed this exercise, ask yourself what have you learned. Time to reflect?
  • How are your value rankings different from what you thought? 
  • Check out the possible strengths and potential pitfalls of aligning yourself closely with these values.  
  •  Any implications for other aspects of your work and life?
  •  What might you begin to do differently? 
  • What benefits will you gain from any changes you make?

Rank order your values from 1 - most important to 12 - least important.

Ambition - climb the ladder, get to the top - Strengths/Pitfalls
Achievement - do great things, be the best  - Strengths/Pitfalls

Excitement - do new and exciting things - Strengths/Pitfalls
